Nasif Ibn Majeed is a Charlotte-based assistant imam, community organizer, and founder of the Charlotte Muslim Caucus. He serves as Chair of Keep Charlotte Beautiful and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership at Bayan Islamic Graduate School, with a focus on Islamic ethics and community leadership. He is a devoted husband and father committed to servant leadership and lifelong learning.

Interfaith social justice work comes with unqiue strengths and challenges, but coming together is a powerful witness that can have a powerful impact on our communities, culture, and politics.Imam Nasif Majeed, Rabbi Dennis Jones, Reverend Carter Thomas, and Rev Joel Simpson have all been involved in interfaith work around social justice. They will discuss their experience of interfaith social justice work, strengths and challenges, and things Christians and progressive people should know about working with other faith groups.
