Project 21:12 aims to provide clear on-ramps for community-building and solidarity organizing to former evangelicals (“Exvangelicals” or “post-evangelicals”) in order to help folks make meaning of their experiences, be emboldened in community with others, and take action to diminish the power of rising Christian Nationalism fueled in part by evangelical leaders, while building the power of a social justice solidarity movement.

Experience DescriptionAt Project 21:12 we're reclaiming the community many of us have lost as Exvangelicals. We're committed to speaking truth to power by telling the stories that have too often been silenced, and we’re building a movement rooted in solidarity and justice along the way. In this workshop, we'll explore how personal narrative can challenge harmful systems, create belonging, and inspire action. You’ll learn how we've used storytelling as a powerful tool to connect Exvangelicals across the country organizing against White Christian Nationalism. You’ll also gain practical insight into how you can use storytelling in your own work. Together, we’ll reflect on the role of story, share some tips and tools and do some story-sharing. Join us to listen, share, and imagine what becomes possible when we reclaim our stories and use them to build something better, together.
