Recovery at the Goose – Recovery Meetings, Sober Camping Area, and Sober Support Space. We are an anonymous band of folks who are in various forms of recovery – or are just curious about recovery from addiction. We host a sober camping area and sober safe space that is an alcohol-free and other substance-free zone. Anyone is welcome to camp here or hang out at any time for connection and support. We hold two recovery meetings daily (9:00 AM and 6:00 PM) at the Yoga Tent, incorporating 12 Step, Recovery Dharma, and other approaches to recovery. Recovery at the Goose grew from the Wharf Rat tradition at Grateful Dead concerts. The need was seen and felt at the early Wild Goose Festivals for this kind of space. A recovery community was born and continues to this day to support persons in recovery or curious about recovery.
