    Title ShortAutistic Community at WGF
    Venue Science Tent
Experience DescriptionWe want to give humans on the Autism Spectrum the opportunity to meet up and to self-identify throughout the festival. During Friday Beer & Hymns (often loud, disorienting, and intimating for neurodiverse festival-goers) we will host a meet-up for humans on the Autism Spectrum. In a quiet, but not hidden-away space, we will create community and strategize for the festival experience. We will bring a simple installation to display for everyone throughout the festival bringing autism awareness and best practices on how to engage Autistic people in public spaces. The installation will include space for Meet-Up participants to add their thoughts and hopes for WGF. We will put temporary tattoos and stickers of the universal symbol of Autism at the Rangers Station, so if they choose, festival-goers on the spectrum can self-identify and find each other.
