    Venue Convo Table 04
Experience DescriptionDrawing on their backgrounds as a religion scholar and a grassroots community organizer, Jim and Sally will lead a creative, interactive workshop style discussion of White Christian Nationalism. Our intention is that the exact nature and goal of this workshop will be somewhat fluid depending on the knowledge of and experience with white Christian nationalism identified by the attendees. Part 1 - Jim will provide a descriptive definition of White Christian Nationalism and discuss how we have encountered it in our community of Pueblo, Colorado as a case study. Part 2 - Sally will lead a hands-on workshop on grassroots organizing. Participants will break up into small groups to identify the influences of White Christian Nationalism in their own communities, then brainstorm effective ways to respond using various grassroots organizing tools that Sally will introduce, depending on what the experiences of the participants have been and where the discussion goes. This may be longer than a 50-minute session if you like the idea.
