Experience DescriptionExistence Takes Time,' describes my memoir--STILL IN THE UNIVERSE: mother, brother, husband. Those three important people in my life found unique ways to confirm their ongoing existence after they had moved on from the configuration I embraced alongside them. These are not remembered dreams nor ghost stories but detailed incidents in waking life which sum up who these entities were and still are as they continue their journeys in the universe. I will read excerpts from certain sections of the memoir for emphasis. For example, In the section concerning my mother, I will also show the audience a large, silver-plated bird, called THE MAGIC BIRD in our family, and which not literally but in an interesting sense, 'came to life ' in comfortable, familiar circumstances which I would understand to help me gain closure after my mother's unexpected death. I consider these incidents to be shareable gifts with others seeking answers. Perhaps the nature and range of my experiences will remind others of similar happenings in their own lives and spark insightful discussion among all the participants. It is my contention that we do not 'go around only once in life,' and that existence does indeed take time.
